They’ve driven down Lombard Street, crossed the Golden Gate bridge, navigated the Pacific Coast Highway, and even made it all the way around Lake Tahoe. All in all, google self-driving cars have logged over 140,000 miles. Google think this is a first in robotics research.

Google announced the winners of Google's Project 10^100.Two years ago on 24th September, Google begins Project 10^100 by asking us to share our ideas for changing the world by helping as many people as possible. Then Thousands of people from more than 170 countries submitted over 150,000 ideas. From that group, Google narrowed it to the final 16 ideas for public vote. Google has just announced that it’s given a total of $10 million to five different organizations, after culling through over 150,000 ideas.
