The Smartphone features a 2.6-inch WVGA capacitive multitouch screen with 320×400 pixel display resolution. Whereas the Pre 3 gives excellent display as it has a touch screen of 3.6 inches which is much larger as compared to HP Veer’s touch screen.
The dimensions of Veer are 2.1” x 3.3” x 0.6” which makes it one of the smallest Smartphone. Its size just looks like a bunch of six or eight credit cards.
Veer includes a slide-out QWERTY keyboard but the keyboard is very small due to its small size causing problem to the users while using it.
Here HP first uses the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7230 processor of 800 MHz and will rock the amazing 512MB of RAM (same as Pre 2).
The HP Veer has a 5 megapixel camera on its back with autofocus LED flash & Geotagging, but its focus unit is fixed. It has no front camera.
Veer will reach the market shelves in early spring with 8GB internal memory. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD card slot.
HP Veer’s Connectivity is standard with the supports of HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. But The Veer has only quad-band GSM telephony support, no CDMA here available. And the common Features of the smartphones includes USB mass storage, Adobe flash player 10.1 beta support, easy access to social networks & emails, proximity & light sensors and intuitive gestures for navigation.
