Facebook launches “something awesome” – Video Chat Powered by Skype

After a huge rumor and anticipation, Mark Zuckerberg (Co-founder and CEO of Facebook) confirmed that Facebook now has 750 million users and they will now be able to make video calls on Facebook. This awesome feature will be powered by Skype (A world leading Internet phone service).

In addition, Facebook also include an option for group chat and to see the friends you message most, whether on line or offline.

In the war of Google+ Vs Facebook, Now Facebook stepped up one step by introducing video chat. Currently In Facebook there is no option for group Video chat. But it is available on Google Plus.

A few months ago Facebook started working with Skype to bring video calling on Facebook.

Facebook announced on its blog “A few months ago, we started working with Skype to bring video calling to Facebook. We built it right into chat, so all your conversations start from the same place. To call your friend, just click the video call button at the top of your chat window.”

Though It’s necessary to one time setup a small plug-in to get it started.  Facebook will activate video call features to all users in few days.
